ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD AGE APPROPRIATE CANINE COMPANION Meet Rocky the 4 yr old lightweight Pug Champion! Weighing in at a lean and mighty 18 lbs. This little champ may be small but packs a whole lot of personality into his compact frame. What is Rocky’s signature move? His 1-2 kiss combo-quick, sweet smooches that land right on you heart before you even see them coming. Don’t let his “lightweight” title fool you-Rocky is a heavyweight when it comes to love, sweetness, and charm. Whether he is strutting around like he owns the place or curling up for a cozy cuddling session, he’s always ready to steal the spotlight (and maybe a treat or two). Rocky is a breeder release, and the Vet gave him the once over. Due to an eye issue, Rocky takes eye drops two times a day to keep his eyes hydrated. He is learning potty training and is a very quick learner. While in the house he wears a bellyband with no issues. Rocky is learning the ropes of home life, especially when it comes to the stairs. He’s figuring out how to use them to go outside, hop on the couch, and get in bed. With a little encouragement and patience, this determined Champ is catching on fast. Rocky spent a fair amount of his life in a cage, and these days he much prefers a soft bed where he can stretch out, snuggle in, and feel safe. Rocky can get a little upset when placed back in the crate, but with a bit of reassurance, he settles down and calms himself. He is learning that he is no longer limited to a cage-that comfort, freedom, and love are now part of his every day. Rocky gets along well with people, kids, and his (3) foster sibling dogs. Rocky is a big fan of mealtimes and treats. And of course, he comes fully equipped with all the classic pug charms. Those irresistible snorts, goofy grins, and expressive faces that make you laugh without trying. He likes to be carried and would probably do well in a pet sling. Rocky’s journey has not always been easy, but you would never know it from his sweet disposition. This little champion is ready to tag into his forever home-are you ready to be in his corner.
