NORM NEEDS A NEW HOME! (we are assisting owner) Age: 3 years old Weight: 70 lbs Breed: Mixed breed (see Embark DNA) Colors: Black with white accents Neutered, up to date on vaccines, potty trained Commands known: sit, down, give me five (paw), wait/stay, place, come (although less consistent with outdoor distractions) Personality: "Eeyore" like generally, snuggly but independent, can be playful, VERY food motivated. Favorite toys/activities: big red herding ball, tennis balls, kongs, chew toys, swimming, playing chase with other dogs, rough-housing with other dogs Norm is very trainable, we worked with Dog Wizard and he has lifetime support with them. He is eager to learn and picks up new skills quickly. Norm is being rehomed because he has shown possessive/protective/resource-guarding around our 13 month old child. He has NOT shown aggression through any lunges or bites towards our child. He has snarled his lip and growled over fallen food and a milk bottle. Norm would make a great companion to an adult with predictable routine and behaviors. Norm should not be in a home with children. Norm can do well with other dogs, pending introduction.
