About Judy
Judy is a petite 11-pound girl with the sweet looks of a Yorkshire Terrier, possibly with a hint of Chihuahua. She thrives on affection and will happily curl up in your lap for as long as you’ll let her. At just around two years old, Judy is young and curious, with plenty of energy for walks and play but enough calm for a quiet evening inside. She’s been fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, is on heartworm and flea prevention, and is scheduled to be spayed soon. Judy does very well with other small dogs, cats, and kids in her foster home, showing her easygoing and friendly nature. She appreciates having a fenced yard and wouldn’t be content in an apartment, since she loves a bit of secure space outdoors. Judy is house trained and learning her way around a leash. Since she’s never truly alone in her foster environment, she will do best with a canine pal in her future home to help her feel secure and avoid potential separation worries. Judy is in Memphis, TN and looking for a family that will love her as much as she’ll love them. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Yorkshire Terriers like Judy generally appreciate a moderate amount of outdoor space—a fenced yard is ideal so she can sniff around and stretch her legs safely.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Yes, Judy is a good fit for homes with children, especially if the kids are gentle and respectful. Her current foster home includes a small child, and she does great.
