About Cocoa

Cocoa started life with a tough beginning, growing up feral and completely unsocialized. Rescued at 4 months old, she barely knew humans at all. Thanks to patient care, gentle guidance, and work with a professional trainer, Cocoa has come leaps and bounds in a short time. Now at 8 months, she enjoys leash walks, greets new people, and, most of all, adores other dogs. She lights up when playing with canine friends and would do best in a home where she has dog companions. Cocoa has a playful streak—particularly when it comes to shoes! She can't resist snatching them, but always returns them when asked. While she’s generally calm for a pup her age, she’s still learning about the world and looks to her humans for support and reassurance. Her new people should expect to invest time in ongoing training and confidence-building. With more patience and steady leadership, Cocoa can truly blossom into a wonderful adult dog. She's spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. Cocoa is available for meet and greets in the metro-Phoenix area. Fun fact: Cocoa is a Virgo, which tends to mean she's hard-working and loyal at heart. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
