Baxter, born around April of 2021, has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. At first he was often seen with airplane ears, quietly taking everything in from a safe distance. With time and patience, Baxter has relaxed and started to show his sweet personality. Now he enjoys attention and has proven to be an affectionate boy. Baxter does prefer to hang out up high, where he can comfortably observe everything going on around him. Because of that, we’re not sure if he’ll be a lap cat, but he is a wonderful, independent companion who still appreciates pets and affection. He does has a cloudy right eye from an old corneal scar, which only adds to his unique charm. Baxter absolutely loves other cats and must have a feline friend in his home. Baxter has blossomed with time and kindness, and he’s ready to find a home where he can share his affection, enjoy a cozy high perch, and have a cat buddy by his side. Approx.
