Hi there! My name is Buddy and I'm a 3 year old Male Chihuahua Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! This sweet little Chihuahua came to us from an overcrowded rescue and is now hoping to find a calm, loving home where he can finally settle in for good. Buddy is a sensitive soul who thrives on companionship and loves being close to his humans. Whether he's following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch, or soaking up gentle affection, Buddy's happiest when he's near the people he trusts. He can be a little shy with new situations at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through. Because of his sensitive nature, Buddy would do best in an adult-only home where things are a bit calmer and more predictable. He's the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with his person and become the ultimate tiny sidekick. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
