Hi, I’m Ladybug —I am 8 months old, 20 lbs, my vet thinks I will still grow to be about 28-30 lbs when full grown. I am professionally adorable, surprisingly fast, and apparently unforgettable. I’m the kind of girl who walks into a room and somehow leaves everyone smiling without even trying very hard. I have tiny little legs, great smile, and enough personality to fill an entire house. One minute I’m zooming around the yard like an Olympic athlete in disguise, and the next I’m curled up beside you acting like cuddling is my full-time career. People say I greet everyone like a celebrity meeting fans, which honestly feels accurate. Kids, dogs, cats, strangers… I’ve decided the world is mostly full of friends I just haven’t met yet. My favorite thing is making people laugh with my silliness, and I’m pretty good at it. I’m still a young pup with puppy energy, so I’d love a home where I can play, explore, and burn off some zoomies before settling in for snuggles. A yard would make me very happy, and I think having another friendly dog around to show me the ropes could be really fun too. Before rescue, I was found as a stray near a food truck by a kind vendor who made sure I got safe. Since then, I’ve been discovering that soft beds, toys, routines, and love are actually pretty wonderful inventions. I’m looking for the kind of family that enjoys laughter, movement, and a little joyful chaos in the best way. Someone who wants a dog that feels like part comedian, part cuddle buddy, and part tiny best friend. I’m crate trained, house trained and sleep through the night like a professional, and I’m very food motivated — which means I’m smart and eager to learn. I also love toys very seriously and believe every toy deserves equal attention. I am in the waiting list to be spayed but if my family cant wait to meet me I can go home with a spay contract so my family can get it done when their vet thinks is best for my growth and health. I’m currently in Texas but can be adopted through a foster-to-adopt program. That means you’ll have a chance to make sure we’re the perfect fit before making things official. We want forever homes to feel right for everyone involved. Transport is available every other weekend to pickup locations including Connecticut and Vermont.
