Lexi fooled us at first. She came in with kittens and a “don’t mess with my babies” attitude that could rival a lioness. We respected her space and labeled her as a future barn cat once her little ones were grown. Then her kittens started eating on their own, and Lexi then became an empty nester. Overnight, she transformed from feral mama to love-me-now housecat. Seriously, less than 24 hours!
