CENSUS DEADLINE CLOSE OF BUSINESS THURSDAY 04/16/26 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR 30 + day FOSTER Name: Noah Animal ID: A876615 Age: 2y Weight: 49.00lbs Web Link: https://24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A876615 About: Actor Noah Wyle has made a major career resurgence playing Dr. Michael “Robby” in HBO’s hit show The Pitt. Our pup Noah has followed a different career path (as in... none because he’s a dog), but he too is looking to make a resurgence and get back into a loving home!! Noah is a handsome young boy who spent most of his life in one home prior to coming to the shelter. Sadly, his person became ill and could no longer care for him. Noah reportedly did well with other similarly- sized dogs, was crate and house trained, and was described as an affectionate and playful pup who loves toys. Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said: “Noah is a very sweet and gentle little boy! He was curious and friendly as I entered the play yard. He came over to me right away with a little waggy tail to say hello. He smelled that I had some treats in my pocket, which hewas very interested in! He was a little hungry baby and enjoyed snacks. He’s a sweet boy who seeks affection, standing next to me and enjoying pets, and even getting up onto my lap! He’s a love!” Noah shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’ll likely benefit from having a confident furry friend to show him the ropes in a future home and a family who will help him build confidence. Noah finds himself struggling with shelter life and life living in a kennel. Noah is extremely stressed and he needs to get out of the shelter ASAP. Please ask how you canhelp Noah today! Available for long term foster care (30+ days) or adoption through PACC. Interested parties: Must visit PACC before the COB Thursday April 16th, 2026 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with. Home Management Plan 1) Bite History • Incident Details: minor bite to volunteer's finger through the kennel 2) Shy/Nervous • Decompression Period: Allow Noah ample time and space to settle into their new environment. Pushing interactions too soon can increase stress and delay progress. • No Forced Handling: Avoid handling that Noah does not initiate or consent to. Let them approach on their own terms. Use high value treats, calm praise, and gentle encouragement to build trust. • Building Affection: They may take time to show affection or seek attention. Every dog adjusts at their own pace - patience and consistency are key to helping them feel secure. • Confident Dog Recommended: They may benefit from living with a calm, confident dog who can model appropriate behavior and help build trust in new environments.
