Meet Kai! Kai is a 10-month-old tabby boy with a big personality tucked inside a shy little shell. He’s incredibly adorable, a little goofy, and full of silly energy that will keep you smiling every day. At first, Kai can be quite the scaredy cat. New noises, sudden movements, or unfamiliar people will have him running to find a safe hiding spot. But with patience and a calm environment, he slowly starts to come out of his shell and that’s when you get to see just how sweet he really is. Once he feels comfortable, Kai loves being near his person. He’ll quietly hang out beside you and may even ask for pets. Kai will rub his body over you as a sign of affection and to ask for pets. But, too much affection at once can overwhelm him, its best to start out in small doses. He's incredibly sweet but a little clumsy when it comes to love. Kai’s favorite thing in the world is food. He is very food motivated and absolutely loves treats, especially Churu. Treats are a great way to bond with him and build his confidence. And when it comes to playtime, Kai truly shines. He loves to play and can keep himself entertained for hours with his endless energy and goofy antics. Watching him chase toys and pounce around is when you really see his fun, carefree side. Kai gets along well with other cats and is vocal about trying to initiate playtime. Kai would do best in a patient, understanding home where he can take his time learning to trust. He would greatly benefit from a household with a cat buddy for companionship and for playtime.
