Meet Moggs, a young adult (approx. 3 years old) spayed female English Bulldog mix, weighing about 30 lbs! Moggs is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT soon. We are accepting applications on her now! She will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT soon after arrival to CT. Her foster said, "Moggs is good with dogs, cats and older kids. She has an even temperment and is better with older kids because she can jump around when excited. She is crate trained and house broken." As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
