Meet Skipper, a small Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is around 3 years old and weighs about 7 pounds. He came to Illinois after being found on the streets of Texas—hungry and lacking shelter—alongside another dog named Happy. Their rescue partner took them in, nursed them back to health, and now Skipper is thriving and ready for a home. Skipper is affectionate and easygoing, making him a fit for most households. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, loves everyone he meets, and isn’t fazed by much. House training is still in progress, and a belly band is currently used to help.
