Like her sister, her story began in a frightening way—she was left outside the shelter at closing time in a box. With coyotes already nearby, she was in serious danger, but thankfully she was discovered and brought to safety just in time. Because of this rough start, Teddy is still a very timid girl who needs time to feel safe. She builds trust slowly, but when she does, her affectionate personality shines through in the most heart-melting ways. Teddy isn’t a fan of being picked up or sitting on laps, but she loves being close to her people. She’ll happily sit next to you, purring contentedly while she makes biscuits. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll even seek you out for attention—greeting you with her adorable chirpy little meows and rubbing against your legs as you walk by. One of Teddy’s favorite ways to bond is through play. She absolutely loves interactive wand toys and has a blast tossing around little toy mice like a tiny hunter.
