She was lovingly surrendered after nearly a decade with her family, who described her as “very calm… enjoys spending as much time outside as possible.” Her absolute favorite thing in the world is laying outside in the sunshine — on the deck, in the grass, anywhere warm and quiet. She’s a slow mover these days and has some trouble walking, so she’s currently at our vet getting started on pain medication to help her feel more comfortable. Maybel is the definition of an easy companion: gentle, quiet, affectionate, and happy just being near her people.
