About Alice

Alice was surrendered along with her brother and almost didn’t make it, but now she’s getting a new start. She spent most of her life crated or living in a car, never even walking on grass until recently. Her foster doesn’t crate her; instead, she gets a quiet gated room for herself. She’s still learning the basics, like potty training and walking on a leash, both of which are new and a little scary for her, but she’s getting better every day. Alice listens well—she knows "come" and "sit," and gets wiggly-happy, whipping her tail when excited. She’s working on “stay,” though she has a hard time holding still. Alice will need someone patient. She is shy around new people and may bark or growl at first, but she’s never aggressive and just needs time to come to you. Once she trusts you, she becomes a total shadow, affectionate and eager to be close. Alice is learning the joys of being outside and playing with other dogs. She loves romping with her foster siblings (a Shepherd, a Bully, and a Pug), chasing squirrels, and even tried out a little pool. She’s happiest around other dogs and enjoys snuggling up with them. Give Alice the time she needs, and she’ll reward you with loyalty and love. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
