About Popsicle

Popsicle’s story hasn’t been easy, but she’s determined to move on. She landed in rescue after being abandoned outside, skinny, scared, and days away from giving birth. No one expected her to have five kittens, especially given her frail state and the rough conditions she endured. Popsicle hung on for her babies, feeding them even as her own health suffered. Now that her kittens are independent, she’s slowly getting back to a healthy weight. Her coat is still patchy and the shedding’s heavy—partly from all those fluctuating hormones—but none of that hides her need for affection. Popsicle’s naturally shy, but the moment she realizes you’re there to give her gentle pets, she melts in your lap. She needs a calm home with quiet energy—a place where she’ll be given time and patience to settle in. Popsicle is FIV positive. This is not a dealbreaker for her future. With care, she can live a full life. FIV only passes to other cats by deep bites or breeding, so she would do best as a single cat or among other FIV+ cats. She gets along with dogs and cats, and her gentle nature comes through once she feels safe. Popsicle's resilience is remarkable, and she’s ready to find a home that’s as steadfast as she is. She’s a Libra—known for seeking harmony and balance. Your new best friend is just one click away.
