Meet River, affectionately known as the “Muffin Man,” a four-month-old tabby who lives life with his paws and his heart wide open. Rescued through our partner in Barbados, his nickname comes from his nonstop “biscuit making”—if there’s a blanket, lap, or cozy spot nearby, he’s happily kneading away while purring the whole time. River is an incredibly sweet, outgoing kitten with a playful, social personality. He’s not shy in the slightest—he adores people, loves attention, and can’t get enough of being part of whatever is happening around him. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring, or just inserting himself into your space, he’s always in the mix. Just as much as he enjoys playtime, River is a dedicated snuggler. If you sit down, he’ll likely be the first to climb right into your lap and settle in, still “muffin-making,” and most of the time in the air, as he goes. He’s happiest when he’s close to his humans and included in the action. River would do best in a home with another young, playful kitty or kitten to keep him company and match his energy. Having another young cat is a requirement for his adoption. He is currently being fostered in a home with children and is doing wonderfully with them.
