AvailableAbout Darla And Peter
Meet Darla and Peter, the ultimate "rags-to-riches" duo! While they aren't siblings by birth, these two found each other in foster care and formed a bond so strong they are now inseparable best friends. The Dynamic Duo: Darla (7-month-old Grey & White Tabby): Darla’s journey started at just 6 weeks old when she was discovered hiding under the bushes at a Publix in North Miami. At the time, she was tiny, weak, and very ill. After being nursed back to health, she blossomed into the softest, calmest little cuddlebug you could ever meet. She is the "zen" to Peter’s energy. Peter (6-month-old Black Kitty): Peter was also rescued as a tiny baby, battling a severe upper respiratory infection. With a lot of love and medical care, he transformed into a happy, active, and incredibly loving boy. Peter is a social butterfly who gets along famously with both cats and dogs. Why They Are Perfect Together: Though they had rough starts in different places, they became "foster besties" the moment they met. They comforted each other through their recoveries and now spend their days playing and napping together. With proper introduction, Darla and Peter would do great in a home with children and dogs. but not other cats. Darla and Peter are a fully bonded pair looking for a forever family that has room in their hearts for two resilient, sweet, and perfectly matched companions. Darla and Peter are neutered and spayed, up to date with vaccines / FVRCP / Rabies ( if age appropriate), are FIV/FeLV negative, are parasite free and microchipped. The adoption fee includes transport, spay/neuter, all required vaccinations up to date , Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and parasite treatment.
