Meet Shadow! He is a playful and active cat who would love to play with any type of toy! Once he is comfortable with you he is a cuddly and affectionate boy, but he may take some time to get to that point. In the previous home he took some time adjusting to new animals in the home, so we would recommend a slow introduction and giving all his furry friends time to adjust. Once he is comfortable with his new environment, his personality will start to shine! The cat you are adopting tends to have a difficult time with transition. This means that they are likely to be very nervous when you first get them home and may stay that way for weeks until they are settled and can begin to relax. This cat should be set up in a "base camp" or a room of their own, where they cannot see other animals or people, for at least 3 days. This room should have a door that closes. The cat should receive daily care in this room and you can feel free to visit as much as you like. You should offer a variety of foods until you find one that they are eating. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
