Sunny is named for both his color and personality. At 65lbs and a heart to match, he is a gentle sweetheart looking for a soft place to land. At his foster home, he loves to window watch and sunbathe. He is an expert at settling down and enjoys getting belly rubs. Any squeaker toy will be adored and cherished. While not a big chewer, Sunny does enjoy playing fetch and tug. He is eager to learn and please his humans, and so far knows the commands “sit”, “back”, “down”, “come”, “leave-it”, and “place.” He is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He also does very well in the car. The vet reports him in perfect health, and he is up to date on all vaccinations. His forever home would be somewhere with no small animals, as he tends to get over excited. While displaying no aggression, integrations with other animals will take patience and training. He would make an excellent addition to any family! All supplies for his care will be provided upon adoption—bed, harness, leash, bowls, toys, etc.—except for a crate. His fosters belive he could absolutely be someone’s soul dog. All it takes is a chance.
