**ON HOLD BUT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS** Hi! I am Muffin - a nearly 15 year old Siamese cat. I came to the shelter, after spending all of my life with my family. Unfortunately, my family was no longer able to care for me and I am now in need of a few place to spend the remainder of my days. My personality is very reserved, quiet and private. I keep to myself, enjoying the comfort of the top of the bed and catching the sunbeams as they peek through the windows. I came from a home with dogs and an another cat. I am struggling to adjust to a new life and the stress is really hard for me. I need a new place, quickly, and with minimal transition as possible. I am spayed and I am up to date on my age appropriate vaccines. I have been tested for both Feline Leukemia and FIV - I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning. My ideal home includes a home where I can simply exist. I am very low maintenance. I do like affection - on my terms and will sit on your lap, get some pets and then retreat to the top of the bed to catch a nap. I would do best in a home where the other pets are also of a similar temperaments. I would do best in a home without a lot of activity - a quiet, private, calm home. I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and lots of pets and love, when I am ready.
