Hello, I am 9 years old and 83 lbs. My owners split up and somehow I ended up in the shelter and then they named me Hamster (do I look like a hamster?) when my real name is Opie. I was a little grumpy when I got here. Wouldn't you be if you were let down and then named for a rodent? Anyways, some nice volunteers took me out for my photos and we had the best time getting to know each other. They gave me pets and treats and I gave them kisses. They said I'm very smart, and know a few commands (sit, down, paw.) They also said I was easy-peasy, sweet and lovable. I don't ask for much- just a little space in your home and heart with people who won't let me down. Ask for Hamster at the shelter (I prefer Opie.) Can't wait to meet you.
