About Churro II
Churro is a 65-pound Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd mix with a personality that matches his cheerful name. He's an upbeat, happy dog, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile. Whether he's following a new scent, chasing toys, or hitting the trails for a walk, Churro finds joy in every adventure. His sociable nature shines around people and other dogs—he’s the kind who’d love nothing more than a playful canine buddy in his forever home. Churro thrives on interaction and isn't suited for houses with cats, but he’s eager to please, enthusiastic about treats, and picks up new tricks quickly. He’s bilingual, understanding both English and Spanish. Churro is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He participates in the Paws in Prison program, where he receives basic obedience training and lives alongside his trainers 24/7. The adoptive family will get his training journal, full of notes and progress updates. Because of his close bond with people, Churro will do best as an indoor dog with lots of family time—and will need an adjustment period to settle into his new routine. Ready to fall in love?
