Skyler is a 1.5-year-old tuxedo who looks like he's permanently dressed for a gala, complete with an incredible set of long, wispy whiskers that give him a truly distinguished look. He is a gentle soul who is looking for a devoted family ready to give him the premier treatment he deserves. While he is deeply kind and enjoys affection, Skyler has a bit of an independent streak and might seem a little reserved when you first meet. He's the type of feline who likes to observe his surroundings before fully diving into a cuddle session, but once he feels focused on and appreciated, his warm personality truly shines through. This handsome guy is quite happy being the solo star of the household. While he is capable of sharing space with another cat, he's not really looking for a playmate or a best friend--he'd much rather have your undivided attention all to himself. As for canine companions, Skyler would likely be a fine roommate to a dog, provided they both have their own space. We always advocate for a slow, staged introduction with any resident pets; this allows Skyler to build confidence in his new environment at his own pace, ensuring he feels secure rather than startled by a new face. Skyler would do best in a home with kids aged 8 and up who can appreciate his occasional need for a little breathing room. He loves being part of the family, but he values having a quiet nook where he can go to decompress when things get busy. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet him!
