Meet Roger! Roggie is a very special boy who will make the right person *very* happy. When you unlock the key to his heart, the rewards are unparalleled. Roger is still in the process of overcoming a lot of trauma from when he was abandoned in his carrier on a street in Brooklyn in the middle of the winter. He needs someone who can be on an even keel for him and understand that he feels things *very* intensely and is very sensitive to energies. He needs a calm, quiet home with no other animals and no children. When he gets overstimulated or scared he hyperventilates and sometimes scratches when he's getting settled, but he really, really doesn't mean it. He has so much love in his heart. He needs someone who understands that he is really, truly gentle and good--he likes to stand up and kiss your face and get as close as he can to you when he snuggles up with you--which can be a little disconcerting since he scratches when he gets overstimulated. But once the bond of trust is built, and he knows you trust him and he trusts you, you know he won't hurt you. He needs someone who is willing to make him their world--because he deserves the whole world and he'll give it to you, because he really is the best boy. Roggie is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
