About Vanilla
Vanilla is about a year and a half old and has already experienced more upheaval than most cats ever will. After her previous owners left the country abruptly, they told the building doorman to toss her out, and she suddenly found herself vulnerable and alone outside. Vanilla had no idea how to handle street life—she was terrified and stopped eating. She dealt with hunger, threats from other animals, and people who meant her real harm. Thankfully, she was rescued in time by a compassionate stranger who saw her distress, and she’s now safe and healing. Vanilla’s gentle temperament has remained intact. She’s calm, affectionate, and has a tidy nature—always keeping herself and her area very clean. Vanilla loves being around children, gets along with other cats and dogs, and is a big fan of vegetables and fresh food. She enjoys cuddles, hugs, and kisses, and appreciates being part of a peaceful, loving home. Her Persian coat does require regular grooming, so prior Persian experience is needed for her adopters to keep her thriving. Vanilla comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. She’s ready to settle in with a family that will never abandon her again.
