About Chloe

Written: 5/8/2026 Age: 15 weeks, estimated birthday 1/20/26 Weight: 13.5 lbs Estimated weight when fully grown: 50-65lbs Breed: Possible Shepherd mix, parents not known Meet Chloe! Chloe is incredibly sweet, gentle, and mild-mannered. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She loves being near her people β€” whether that means playing and being active or simply relaxing by your side while you work or unwind. Chloe is very smart, eager to learn, and picks up on things quickly. She is both crate trained and house trained, and she has been wonderful and gentle with children! Chloe is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Chloe, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
