About Pickles

Pickles is a 16-month-old, 40-pound whirlwind of energy and intelligence. She never tires of chasing a tennis ball and is the type who will nudge you all day until you give in to playtime. With more than two dozen commands memorized and a knack for picking up new tricks almost instantly—especially if there’s a treat involved—she’s smart, athletic, and eager to please. She could easily shine in agility or farm work, and would thrive with advanced training or those talking button toys. She’s got a real smile, too. New people can be intimidating for Pickles at first, but she comes around with patient, gentle introductions. She lights up around kids of all ages, though her excitement sometimes gets the best of her—she’s still learning not to jump and needs guidance when meeting smaller children. Pickles does great with other playful dogs and has done well in doggy daycare, and she’s used to living peacefully with a cat and a ten-year-old child. On leash, she can be a bit reactive and startles easily, but remains overall friendly and submissive. For Pickles, a home with a fenced yard and at least one other playful dog is non-negotiable; she needs the space and exercise to stay balanced and happy. She’s a love-bug who will quite literally hug you back. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
