AvailableAbout Seline
Seline is a stunning 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds, and she turns heads everywhere she goes! With her gorgeous coat, striking bright blue eyes, and one eye that's half brown and half blue, this beautiful girl is truly one of a kind. But Seline's looks are only part of what makes her so special-she's also incredibly affectionate, friendly, and full of personality. She loves meeting new people and is always excited to say hello, soaking up attention and making fast friends wherever she goes. Seline is an active, energetic girl who loves to play and would thrive in a home ready to keep up with her adventurous spirit. Whether it's walks, playtime, outdoor activities, or learning new things, she's happiest when she's engaged and spending time with her people. She's very smart, highly food-motivated, and eager to learn, which makes training both fun and rewarding. When she's not busy playing or exploring, Seline also enjoys relaxing by a window, happily watching the world go by. She's the perfect mix of fun-loving energy and sweet companionship, and she's ready to become an amazing best friend for an active family looking for a loyal and loving companion. When I arrived at Anderson Animal Shelter from their partner shelter in Oklahoma, I tested positive for Heartworm. The staff believes that the best place for Heartworm positive dogs like me to be while going through treatments and recovering is with a loving and forever family like yours. If you choose to adopt me, the clinic staff will be with you every step of the way, answering questions and offering support. The process from detection to the final treatment is generally three months and involves some simple at-home steps to keep me safe while I recover. The last step in the process is a follow-up test six months after my treatment begins. The Heartworm treatment process is highly successful and the staff anticipates that I will fully recover! Yeah! And you should know that Heartworm can only be transmitted from animal to animal by mosquitoes. Stop in and meet Seline in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
