We advise all adopters to expect the 3-3-3 rule as a general guideline for introducing a pet to the home: 3 days to decompress (will show nervousness, hiding, reduced appetite), 3 weeks to settle into a routine (beginning to explore and showing personality), and 3 months to build trust and feel fully comfortable in their new home. This period may be longer for shy or extremely scared animals. Meet a 2 and 1/2 year old boy who's always ready for his next adventure! He's full of energy, loves to explore, and would thrive with an active family that can keep up with his fun-loving spirit. Despite his playful side he is also incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. He already knows "sit" and will happily give you his paw like the perfect gentleman. He's smart, eager to engage, and enjoys both playtime and attention. Because he has a very high prey drive he absolutely cannot live with cats or livestock. He will do best in a home that understands his energy level and can provide, structure, exercise, and lots of love.
