We have a bittersweet story to share about Bandit and the kind of special home and loving person we are looking for to give him that home. For starters, to tell you about the kind of kitty he is: Bandit is an extremely sweet, nice, wonderfully social introvert (no, that is not a contradiction!) who loves people and cats and minds his own business. In fact, another cat might bully him and he won't even retaliate. Although he might head for a nice high spot since he does enjoy them. A favorite activity is cruising the top frame for the resident cats glass enclosures. And he might even "drop in" for a visit ... whether the resident wants it or not! LOL. So that's the sweet part -- he's a doll of a kitty. What's the bitter part? He has a congenital heart issue. It's not a condition to be managed with heart meds, although he is on daily medication to prevent clots. In other words, he was born with a messed up heart and there's not much to be done. In all likelihood, he will have a shortened life span. But don't tell him he has a medical condition -- he is living his life to the max. So that's it. If you give him the loving home he deserves, he will bring you so much joy and happiness and, at some unknown point, his heart will fail.
