Levi This little orange tabby nugget is Levi. He’s a powerhouse wrapped in a tiny package wrapped in total cuteness. He would like to be a Sumo wrestler when he grows up, he’s got the moves down, he just needs to bulk up! He was the first in his brood to figure out the litter box at less than 5 weeks old, and he’s proud of his hygiene habits. Lenny's mom was recently diagnosed with FIV. While it is rare that the kittens would develop FIV, it is recommended that they are tested at 6 months to determine if they are FIV+. FIV is transmitted to other cats by deep bite wounds - so in a peaceful household, there is less risk. Most cats who develop FIV end up living long, healthy lives. We are happy to discuss this further if interested! Because Levi is a kitten, he will need to be adopted into a home with another young cat or kitten. We recommend one of his siblings due to his special circumstances with his mom. -- In hopes of promoting healthy lifelong social skills for cats, The Rescue Pack has a policy for kittens who are 4 months or younger that requires them to be adopted: As a pair, with a cat who is 3 years or younger, or adopted into a home with a cat who is 3 years or younger. All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
