His previous shoulder injury means he’s looking for a calmer lifestyle, but he remains a loving and attentive lap dog.
About Chico
Chico is a 5-year-old, 17-pound terrier mix who wants nothing more than to warm your lap. After it became clear his old shoulder injury made high activity on a farm too much, he’s hoping to land somewhere quieter where he can take it easy. Chico thrives on attention, especially during cuddle time, and he’s gentle with other dogs. He’s especially fond of his chew toys and enjoys using his smarts for puzzle feeders and brain games. His leash manners are solid, and he comes when called. While Chico had a couple of accidents adjusting to life indoors, keeping a steady potty routine has made him reliable in the house. He’s comfortable in a kennel during the day (as long as the door stays open) and prefers to sleep near his people at night—ideally snuggled up. He’ll do best in a home where relaxed walks and affection are part of daily life, not constant hustle. Chico also gets along with children, making him a well-rounded companion. Ready to fall in love?
