Location: Humboldt, SD Alameda came into the rescue with three puppies, but is still a puppy herself! Just over a year old, she loves to play with toys and people. She does like other dogs (with proper introduction), but she hasn't learned how to properly play so she can be too much for smaller dogs. She is great on a leash with occasional pulling if she sees a squirrel or rabbit. She is doing great on redirection, so walking with treats is a good idea She is not sure about cats yet - her prey drive tells her to chase them but foster mom says no, so she is content with barking at them for now. She is a super sweet girl that takes all the pets she can, she loves meeting new people of all ages. She is still learning not to jump, so older kids are recommended (7+). She is housetrained and goes in the kennel without a peep for bedtime. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
