About Buttercup
Buttercup is a petite orange tabby with a soft, short coat and friendly spirit. Originally pulled from a colony along with her kittens, she quickly showed she was far too sweet to be returned outdoors. Buttercup was shy at first, preferring to hide for days, but she’s steadily coming out of her shell in foster care—gaining confidence and revealing her affectionate side. She now enjoys being petted and shows her appreciation with ample biscuit making. Since Buttercup is still finishing her vaccinations, she’s kept apart from other animals for now. She expresses interest in sniffing beneath the door when other cats or dogs are nearby and didn’t react negatively when briefly seeing dogs, so she could likely adjust to a friendly cat or a cat-savvy dog. Young kids might overwhelm her, but a gentle household with older children suits her best while she continues to settle in. Buttercup wants a quiet, loving home where her affectionate nature can shine. Think she might be your perfect match? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
