About Jafar

Born on May 12th, 2025, these eight kittens came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where proper care, medical attention, and socialization were nearly impossible. Despite everything they’ve been through, the Lucky 8 continue to show resilience, personality, and so much love in their own unique ways. When they first arrived into rescue, many were sick, scared, under-socialized, and battling multiple parasites and severe upper respiratory infections. Some of the kittens were left with permanent scarring in their eyes from how severe the infections became, but those scars only tell the story of how hard they fought to survive. These babies were syringe-fed and closely monitored while receiving extensive medical care, socialization, and endless patience. Day by day, they learned what safety, full bellies, soft blankets, and kindness from humans looked like. Since entering rescue, four of the Lucky 8 have already found forever homes — a reminder that even after such a difficult beginning, these kittens are capable of trusting and loving deeply. Now, the remaining four are still patiently waiting for families of their own. ✨ The remaining Lucky 8 still searching for forever homes are: • HAYDEEZ • Raja • FACILIAR • Jafar The Lucky 8 are: • Spayed/neutered • Up to date on vaccines • Combo tested • Fecal tested • Microchipped • Dewormed • Current on flea prevention • Treated and/or under treatment for parasites and medical needs 🐾 Jafar – despite the villain name, this boy is all about love and affection. Sweet, charming, and incredibly gentle. The kittens who were adopted — Gaston, Olaf, Finn, and Nerissa — helped prove just how special this group truly is. Watching them leave rescue and settle into loving homes has been incredibly rewarding, and now it’s time for the remaining four to finally get their chance too. Overcoming all of the medical issues they faced in the beginning has truly set these babies up for success. They fought hard through sickness, treatment, recovery, and socialization, and they’ve come incredibly far from the fragile kittens they once were. Although they may now be older and bigger than many of the younger kittens currently entering rescue, they still deserve the same chance at finding the perfect forever home — a place where they can finally settle in, feel safe, and spend the many happy years ahead of them being loved exactly as they are. Because of their rough start in life, some of these kittens may need a little extra patience while adjusting to a new home. Many would do best adopted alongside another cat or into homes with friendly feline companions, as they’ve always relied heavily on one another for comfort and confidence. The Lucky 8 may not have had the easiest beginning, but they deserve endings filled with warmth, safety, and families who see how incredibly special they are.
