Fern came in as a stray with Fiddlehead, who’s also looking for a home, but she’s settling in well on her own. She gets daily walks, enjoys the play yard, and has become fond of her kennel mate, though she knows they won’t necessarily go home together. Fern’s shy with new people at first and can have trouble with her excitement—she jumps up sometimes—but she warms up quickly and is gently learning better manners. She’s working on her leash skills and shows off her playful, fun-loving personality every day. Staff call her a beauty. At just over a year old, Fern is energetic and affectionate, with a soft spot for her routine and her favorite roommate.
