Meet Mini- From the streets of TCI to the Safe Haven of Potcake Place K9 Rescue to landing her little paws here with us for her fresh start as one of our newest and littlest members of the Paw Paw Pack Crew Family. Mini’s story is a combination of heartbreak partnered with showing her strength and resilience as she cautiously learns that it’s OKAY to love and entrust in humans knowing she is in a safe place. Mini’s tough-girl exterior comes from the harsh hands of being failed once by humans when all she wants is to be loved. At 6months old this strong girl with even stronger will to push forward has endured so much trauma; While the physical scars of being thrown around near open flames will heal in time, the mental and emotional barriers is where it will take some truly special individuals to allow her that chance to open up and show her true potential. To us, we absolutely without any doubts blame Mini for putting all her walls up to protect herself as she has once been failed by humans, but what this little lady will soon come to feel is that fresh start that all started with the Silent Angels of Potcake Place K9 Rescue and continues with us. Mini will see the standards we set forth in place to ensure her that she is safe and will never have to endure such dangers ever again. What we see beneath Mini’s Tough-Girl exterior is the soul of an pup who craves adventure and to see life alongside her favorite humans. The vibes are giving Thrill Seeker meets Lara Croft Tomb Raider Chick meets Lazy Day Snuggles on the porch swing. As we give this little lady the time she needs to decompress we are excited to watch her open up and flourish before our eyes. They say that “The Eyes Are The Windows to the Soul” and as we see it she has the purest, most exciting to get lost in. Mini has been around other dogs and is Fixed & UTD on all vaccines, we will continue to socialize her as she begins to decompress and get comfortable with us to show true results.
