About Luke
Luke is a distinguished black and white tuxedo gentleman who’s put in nearly a decade of service—most notably as a life-saving blood donor for other animals. These days, he’s ready to retire from his important work and settle into a quieter, loving home. At about 8 years old, Luke comes off as a bit reserved with people and values his personal space. A bustling shelter isn’t where he shows his best side. What he is waiting for is someone with the patience to let him acclimate on his own terms. Once comfortable, he’ll quietly share space with you, never pushy, always dignified. He gets along well with other cats and could do especially well in a household with established feline friends—he finds comfort in their company. While he hasn’t lived with dogs or children, Luke’s nature suggests he’d tolerate either, so long as everyone in the mix respects his need for boundaries. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Meeting Luke can be arranged either in person or virtually. Interestingly, as a Capricorn (born January 1), he brings a steady and dependable energy—no surprise for a cat who’s spent his life helping others. Click apply to start the adoption process.
