About Kingsley
Kingsley is a 5-year-old neutered male Akita mix weighing about 75 lbs. He was surrendered due to separation and is known for being active, affectionate, playful, and a bit on the shy or quiet side. Kingsley lived indoors and has a lot of energy to burn—he does best with room to run, consistent love, and plenty of attention. He has struggled with separation anxiety; if left alone too long, he can get into mischief and make messes, so a family that’s home more often or can offer companionship would really suit him. Kingsley walks well on a leash, enjoys riding in the car, and already knows "sit" and "lay down" (most of the time). He’s gentle and considered smart. Toys like stuffed animals, balls, and ropes are among his favorites. Kingsley gets along well with women, men, children, and other dogs—in fact, he’s lived with a 3-year-old child and loves kids. He needs patience, understanding, and an active home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
