Zelia loves exploring, romping around with her siblings, and discovering new things—but she’s just as happy soaking up cuddles after a busy play session. Zelia’s early life was far from easy. She, her mama Zinnia, and her siblings were trying to survive near a busy highway where every day was dangerous. Originally there were 10 puppies in the litter, but heartbreak struck before rescue could arrive and two were sadly lost. Thankfully, a caring volunteer stepped in and brought the family to safety, giving Zelia the chance to grow up somewhere warm, secure, and loved. Now in a foster home, Zelia is learning all the important puppy basics like potty training, routines, and manners. She’s doing wonderfully and has proven to be a social, loving little girl who enjoys both playtime and human companionship. She gets along well with other pets and could thrive in a home with kids who understand the energy and excitement that come with a growing puppy. Like any young pup, Zelia will need continued training, patience, and guidance as she matures. She’s looking for a family ready to embrace all the silly, messy, rewarding moments that come with raising a puppy into an incredible lifelong companion. VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
