Meet Chicken Nugget — a sweet, lovable pup searching for his forever family. Nugget was rescued off the streets after being found roaming a neighborhood, and since then he has shown just how gentle and affectionate he truly is. While he can be a little cautious when first meeting new people, he has been friendly from the very beginning and quickly warms up with patience and kindness. Nugget has done wonderfully with people of all ages, including children and infants. He has also successfully interacted with several other dogs and seems to especially enjoy the company of female dogs, though he gets along with males as well. He has met one cat and did well, so he may be okay in a home with cats. This handsome boy is kennel trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and even makes a great running buddy. He already knows several commands including sit, lay down, stay, and twirl, and he’s currently working on learning shake. Nugget’s favorite things in life are chewing on a good bone, soaking up endless cuddles, and getting pets on the head. Nugget is fully vaccinated, up to date on screenings, and neutered. One thing to know about him is that thunderstorms make him nervous, so he appreciates extra cuddles and calming music during storms. Due to his foster family’s changing circumstances, they are no longer able to keep him and are hoping to find him the loving forever home he deserves.
