About Brussels
Brussels is truly the best sprout you’ll ever meet. When his person passed away, he came in grieving and withdrawn—a solid 91 pounds of sadness for a while. With time, Brussels grew more comfortable and now seeks out the company of people, chasing toys, and meandering over for treats like any good dog would. It’s hard to get far with Brussels in tow before staff stop to greet him. He’s a big guy but exudes joy and warmth, greeting everyone with happy wiggles. Brussels has lived with other dogs before, and with a successful intro, he could join a household with canine companions. He’s easygoing enough that, with slow introductions, there’s a decent chance he’ll adjust to a feline roommate too. Brussels is currently thriving in a foster home, so he’s already getting cozy on couches and learning the rhythms of home life again. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your sofa) for 91 pounds of goof and affection, ask about meeting Brussels. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
