About Mocha

Mocha and her sister Lacey were returned to LCCR by her original owner who had adopted them as kittens in 2018. They were shellshocked by this new development in their lives, but Mocha is definitely ready to find a home to put down new roots! (Lacey is more than happy to move along to a new home with Mocha, but she is more shy and hasn't been hanging around with Mocha at their foster home.) Mocha's foster mom can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is bright eyed and so loving! Mocha greets her foster mom eagerly and with lots of head butts and leg rubs. She is talkative and engaging. She likes to lounge on the sofa as much as she likes to play with feather wands. And for a bigger gal (she is down to around 16 lbs!) she does a lot of jumping and running after her toys! She would be a great companion for someone looking for an engaging feline friend. She gets a long fine with the resident dog in her foster home. She is a little hissy and growly with the other foster cats, but doesn't mind her sister Lacey. Lacey is more than happy to move along to a new home with Mocha, but Lacey is more shy and hasn't been hanging with Mocha since they were surrendered. Lacey isn't listed yet for adoption on her own, as her foster mom would like to work with her a little bit more independently.) Mocha and Lacey are currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. Mocha's adoption donation is $75, which includes age appropriate vaccines, Felv and FIV testing (negative for both), spay, flea treatment and dewormer, and microchip. She can be adopted with Lacey for a joint donation of $125. Please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com to learn more about Mocha (and Lacey). If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
