About Van Gogh
Van Gogh is a striking, medium-sized tabby with just one ear—a trait that likely came from birth, making him easy to spot in a crowd. Originally brought in as a stray with several family members, he started off shy and quiet, but it didn’t take long before his personality bubbled to the surface. These days, Van Gogh loves to talk and will loudly request your attention when you walk in. He enjoys being around people and quickly forms attachments. Van Gogh is FIV positive, meaning his immune system is a bit weaker. As a result, he’ll thrive either as the only cat or with other FIV+ companions, where he won’t risk spreading the virus. FIV isn’t a death sentence—many cats like Van Gogh enjoy full, happy lives with a calm, indoor environment, good nutrition, and regular care. He gets along well with other cats (especially FIV+ ones) and children, making him a wonderful choice for many homes. Ready to make Van Gogh part of your story?
