While he is not yet house trained, he is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Spike is currently in Austin, TX, and he's full of affection for children and ready for a fun, active home.

Meet Spike JuM, a lively and playful 4-year-old husky. Spike is well aware of his strong name, but he’s more of a goofball than a tough guy. Having been rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas, he's now enjoying life and hoping to find a forever family. Spike does well with children, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the home or share it with a submissive canine friend due to his dominant personality. He needs a family that understands his energetic nature; huskies are known for their escape artistry and shedding. Spike thrives on activity and wouldn’t mind a cooler climate to explore. He’s ready for his future—let’s make it happen! Local adoption fee is $200. Out-of-state adoption fee is $400, which includes transport and a $50 temporary fuel fee.
