Gomer
AvailableGomer is a young, neutered male Border Collie mix, about 1 year and 1 month old, located in North Syracuse, NY. He’s medium-sized and up to date on his vaccinations. Gomer is friendly and active, still adjusting to crate and house training, and will thrive with guidance in an energetic home.
About Gomer
Gomer spent about a year in a home before coming back to the rescue when his owner could no longer care for him. He’s an active, friendly Border Collie mix who gravitates toward people and enjoys making new human friends. Gomer hasn’t spent time with young kids and, because of his high energy, would likely do better with older children who can match his playful spirit. He mixes best with dogs that can keep up with his activity level and doesn’t mind a little correction from more experienced canine companions if he gets too rambunctious. Car rides aren’t an issue for Gomer, but he’s still learning the ropes of crate and house training after spending much of his days outside. He’ll do well in a home or with an adopter who leads an active lifestyle and has the patience to teach him new things. Gomer is looking for someone willing to invest in his growth and keep him engaged. If you’re searching for a lively dog eager to learn, he could be your match. Ready to fall in love?
