About Betsy Il
Betsy is an 8-year-old F6 Savannah currently in Louisville, KY. She’s striking, smart, and energetic—a cat with a lot of personality who forms strong bonds once she’s settled. Betsy thrives in a calm, quiet home with adults or older, respectful teens. She’s affectionate and playful, always up for interactive time with those she trusts, but she easily gets stressed in loud or hectic settings. She isn’t suited to homes with young kids, and dogs are a hard no. Betsy can occasionally tolerate another cat, but she truly relaxes and is at her best when she’s the only animal. A peaceful environment lets her shine. Betsy’s adopter must have prior Bengal or Savannah experience and understand this breed’s quirks. She needs someone attentive who’ll provide play, enrichment, and a steady routine. Betsy does well on Freshpet food and should remain on it. Give Betsy the tranquil home she longs for—her ideal person will appreciate her unique spirit and respect her need for space and predictability. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a Savannah cat, Betsy is active and curious, but she does best indoors where her safety is assured. If you can provide secure outdoor enclosures or regular interactive play, she’ll be happy and stimulated without needing free-roaming space.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Savannah cats like Betsy are not recommended for homes with young children due to their sensitivity to noise and chaos. She may do well with older, respectful teens who understand her boundaries.
