Meet Zelda - affectionately known around the rescue as "Potato." At around 4 years old, Zelda has already been through more heartbreak than any dog ever should. She tragically lost the owner she loved, was moved into another home where she wasn't truly wanted, and eventually ended up at impound. Through every bit of loss and uncertainty, Zelda has remained nothing but pure love. Despite the rough few months she's had, this sweet girl still greets the world with a wagging tail and a heart wide open. Zelda LOVES people, adores other dogs, enjoys walks, lives for cuddle time, and yes... food is absolutely one of her greatest passions. (Hence the nickname Potato.) She's the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people. The kind of dog who makes a house feel warm and safe. The kind of dog who deserves a soft place to land after everything she's been through. Please give Zelda the happy ending she has been waiting for.
