About Captain Hook
Captain Hook made his way to rescue from a Northern California shelter, where he was nearly overlooked simply because of his size. Despite that rough start, he's incredibly sweet and has settled in well—he’s crate trained, house trained, and wants nothing more than to be part of a loving home. Captain Hook is dog friendly, but he prefers the company of calmer dogs and would thrive with a canine companion who likes to take it slow. He’s happiest when enjoying bully sticks, heading out on walks, or just relaxing with his people. Captain Hook needs a family who can offer him both guidance and stability, and he’s ready for a home that understands the big rewards of adopting a gentle giant.
